Bachelorette Girl Gang Tour
Rebekah and her five closest girlfriends visited Austin for a Bachelorette weekend of friendship and fun. Although most of Rebekah’s friends reported they had little to no experience biking, they sure did mount their bikes with confidence! For this Bachelorette experience, her friends decided to take on ATX, girl gang style!
Most of the gang had never been to Austin before. Together, we crafted a bike tour that would highlight Austin’s abundant art and nature and provide a lot of opportunities for fun along the way. Upon arriving at H.O.P.E Outdoor Gallery, a generous stranger gifted the bride with some metallic gold spray paint. Rebekah got to work, adding her own art to H.O.P.E.’s colorful walls. Heading south, we stopped to climb the iconic ATX sign before hitting the trails. Spring in Austin is truly the most magical time; we stopped trailside to bask in the beauty of Texas’ wildflowers. The running joke became that Rebekah’s friend, Amanda, always forgot to take off her helmet for photos! We love you, Amanda!
Riding through the Travis Heights hood, Rebekah and her friends truly did begin to assume the modus operandi of a girl biker gang. We wrapped up the Bachelorette tour in the Bouldin neighborhood before proceeding on to The ABGB for well-deserved pizza and beer. We at Texas Bike Tours are so happy we got to serve as a bright highlight in your trip!
Bright Highlight to Our Bachelorette Trip
From the very beginning, Deaton was so attentive! She really paid attention to everything I requested and created an excellent 3 hour route that provided a perfect balance of both nature and art with the perfect pizza beer ending. Brooke was our guide, and she was patient with my group, which had all level riders, and who requested many photo-op stops! This tour was important to me, as all my friends had never done a bike tour before, and were a little questionable about the experience…but not afterwards! Afterwards, with jelly legs and sore tushes, they told me they were hooked! And they would definitely do them again in the future, they talked about how awesome it was all week. Phew! Thank you Deaton and Booke for providing a big bright HIGHLIGHT to our bachelorette trip in Austin.
